THE NEW ERIBA NOVA
Innovative bodywork meets individual design: the popular Premium model range from Eriba is being completely overhauled for the coming model year. In future, all layouts will be available in two new styles – the “Trend” and “Ambience” models. The caravans are characterised by their innovative CLIMADUR body shell design with outstanding insulation properties as well as their characteristic curves, and they also boast plenty of storage space and a comfortable seating area. All of the main functions can be easily controlled using the Eriba Smart-Home-System, which is integrated as standard.
The Eriba Nova has been impressing caravanning customers with its continuous innovations since 1966. “We are incredibly proud to have made yet another huge step forwards with the new Eriba Nova in terms of design and technology. In spite of this, the caravan remains true to its lineage and is instantly recognisable as a Nova thanks to its characteristic curves”, says Rudi Fimpel, the Head of the Eriba Caravans Division.
Outstanding insulation performance due to CLIMADUR body shell design
The Eriba Nova models achieve the best insulation values in the cold chamber test thanks to the innovative CLIMADUR body shell design. This is ensured by the water-resistant and extremely durable PU reinforcements and the XPS insulation. A lightweight and rot-proof GRP floor, as well as the hail-resistant GRP roof, front and rear, also contribute towards the durability and stability of the bodywork. The lowered awning rail and side walls made of aluminium smooth metal also underpin the premium design of the caravan.
Modern design for more individuality and storage space
From outside, the Eriba Nova remains true to its characteristic curves and boasts multifunctional LED hybrid lights, as well as a dynamic rear design. For more individuality, the side walls are optionally available in Crystal Silver or with a sporty decal. Combined with the silver alloy rims, the new Eriba Nova is a real eye-catcher. For those looking for something even more unique and eye-catching, Eriba offers alloy rims in combination of anthracite and silver or white and silver as an option.
Inside the vehicle, two new interior design concepts in the “Trend” and “Ambience” styles create a cosy atmosphere to suit every personal taste. The bright furniture finish and unobtrusive wooden surfaces give the caravan an open feel and are reminiscent of a modern living room. The lighting concept with dimmable light zones and variable accent lighting, which can be controlled using the standard Eriba Smart-Home-System, also plays a part in this. An integrated seating area with optional curved or angular cushions ensures an unparalleled level of comfort. What’s more, ample storage space is provided by the V-shaped beds in the single bed layouts, a large, floor-to-ceiling wardrobe with interior light, a clothes rail and shelf inserts, as well as a generous kitchen worktop with a larder unit. The modern design also has room for a larger than average 55-litre fresh water tank integrated as standard, as well as an optional waste water tank.
Easy-to-use Eriba Smart-Home-System
The standard Eriba Smart-Home-System in the new Eriba Nova leaves nothing to be desired where functionality and comfort is concerned. Using the modern TFT display above the entrance door, all of the main functions, such as lighting, heating, air conditioning and hot water, can be easily controlled. Information about the battery, fresh water or temperature can also be viewed here. Using the Eriba app, all of the functions can also be controlled by Bluetooth or remote control. You can connect to the vehicle via Bluetooth at any time when in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle.
News from Hymer Original Parts: Stylish addition for outside
Thanks to Hymer Original Parts, the appearance of the Eriba Nova can be complemented with another highlight: the new Eriba Nova awning blends in seamlessly with the overall appearance of the caravan. When designing the awning adapter, particular importance was attached to ensuring a perfect fit. One particular highlight is the light on the adapter. This can be operated using a separate switch, and is even dimmable, if desired, which expertly draws attention to the new Eriba Nova. The awning’s sturdy jointed arm ensures that the fabric is perfectly tensioned, and the design also improves the aerodynamics of the vehicle and minimises road noise. Thanks to the full-surface bonding of the adapter to the roof, rain water is drained away to the side of the awning.
The Trend or Ambience models of the Eriba Nova will be available from autumn 2019 onwards in the nine respective layouts: 445, 480, 530, 540, 541, 545, 555, 590 and 620.
